C O L L I S I O N
Collision begins at 11:00 am every Sunday in the Worship Center in the Community Family Life Center.
Everyone has collisions. Some are good, some are bad. Some are both. When a couple goes on a first date, collision. Two people... two value systems, two whole worlds collide. When we start new jobs, when we have children. The list goes on. When God's kingdom becomes real in the life of a believer, God's kingdom collides with our world, our values, our ideas, our habits and our ways of life. This is a beautiful collision. We believe that the Church is the place where God's kingdom meets our world. Not the brick building and structures that we worship in, but the Church, the people that choose God's way over every other way they could be living their lives. We, the Church, bring God's Kingdom into reality here in this crazy world. It should be an amazing, exciting, awesome experience of joy and praise and friendship.
That's the essence of Collision. We want to create a place where believers and people trying to figure more out about Christ, can both come, listen and learn. More than that, they can participate, in any way they may choose, in worship. With sounds like Hillsong United, David Crowder Band, and Chris Tomlin, the worship at Collision is a time to experience God's presence.
Collision has its roots in the historical practices of the church, with at least one historical element each week that helps keep this gathering grounded to our heritage. We want to find the most relevant way to communicate God's timeless message to everyone who walks through our doors.
Collision is not just for young people, although we think it will be a place where our younger generation will thrive. We think it will have broad appeal for everyone, and please understand that everyone is welcome. If you would be interested in serving, please pick up our volunteer brochure and contact us if there is a place you would like to plug in.
